Israel claims to have breached Hamas's stronghold after 10 hours of fighting

In the Gaza Strip of Palestine, Israel is conducting a ground campaign. A fierce battle is underway between the Israeli military and the armed group Hamas, who is leading the struggle for Palestinian independence. Israel claims to have breached one of Hamas's strongholds after a 10-hour confrontation. The targeted stronghold is located in the Jabalia area of northern Gaza.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Thursday through their social media account, Ex (former Twitter), that during the 10-hour battle, multiple terrorists have been killed, and a significant amount of weaponry has been seized. The search has revealed tunnels used by the terrorists, with one tunnel originating near a kindergarten.

During a time when the Israeli military claims to have breached Hamas's stronghold, news from the Palestinian news agency WAFA reports the destruction of a house in Jabalia refugee camp in Israel's airstrike. Many people are reported to be trapped under the debris, and numerous injuries are reported in the city of Gaza as well. In response to the ground campaign in Gaza, Israel has asserted that it has destroyed 130 tunnels belonging to Hamas since the beginning of the operation. In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) mentioned that they are actively searching for and targeting Hamas infrastructure, including tunnels, for discovery and destruction. Some of these tunnels have been found to contain water and oxygen supplies.

During a time when the Israeli military claimed to have breached Hamas's stronghold, reports from the Palestinian news agency WAFA stated that a house was destroyed in an Israeli airstrike on the Jabalia refugee camp. Many are trapped under the rubble, and there are casualties in the Gaza City as well.

In response to the ongoing ground campaign in Gaza, Israel has asserted that it has destroyed 130 tunnels belonging to Hamas since the start of the offensive. In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) mentioned that they are actively searching for and targeting Hamas facilities, including tunnels, in their efforts to dismantle and eliminate the organization. Some of these tunnels have been found to contain water and oxygen supplies.

Hamas has reported advancements in their conflict with Israel as well. Today, the military wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, claimed that they have destroyed three Israeli military vehicles and a bulldozer near the Al-Shati camp in Gaza. Additionally, two Israeli tanks were reportedly destroyed in the city of Gaza. On the other hand, the Palestinian armed group Islamic Jihad's military wing, Al-Quds Brigades, has accused Israel of launching a bomb attack on their vehicles in Gaza City.
